President’s Message

Happy April to all. My first meeting as your President was fantastic. We had a great turnout and even a few new members and guests. I appreciate our club meetings participation and welcome ideas for future workshops and speakers.

I have been busy making my wooden American flags and crosses. I sometimes am not sure what is going to appear once I get out into the shop/garage. I am happy to share that I sold one of my pieces to someone up in the Sierra Nevada mountains where I have a cabin. It’s always nice to have people appreciate the work we do and better yet, give us money!!!

I have been busy trying to fill in the calendar for the rest of the year. It is looking very hopeful so far. I would also like to thank our new board members for continuing to keep the flame of passion burning for our Conejo Valley Woodworkers Association.
